Getting word the perp is in custody, caught in the 113 Pct. News reports saying he has been shot twice, possibly by himself. News reports also indicate the NCPD officer was not wearing his vest this morning when he was shot. http://www.7togo.com/wap/news/text.jsp?sid=10&nid=3824477234&cid=2&scid=-1&ith=0&title=Top+Stories&headtitle=Top+Stories

Like stated above, he was a Volunteer FireFighter, and also a EMT. Condolences go out to family members, friends, and the entire Nassau County PD for a 2nd loss. May that POS who shot him get what he deserves.

R.I.P.
