Hasbrouck Heights  new Smeal Quint responded to its first call over the weekend also I am surprised Maywood switched to a rear mount stick Btw this will make Elmwood Park & Fort Lee the last 2 towns running Simon Duplex LTI Rear mount tower ladder s (Elmwood Park's also has pump like maywoods) anyways Bergen County  dept's making quite a few purchases

Lakeside Engine 533 went to it's new home in Greeley, PA over the weekend.   Guess now we know which company is getting the new engine.   Don't know what it's going to be yet.

City Of White Plains will be replacing Tower Ladder 6, a 2001 American LaFrance Metropolitan/Smeal 85ft rear mount tower with a 2017 Spartan/Smeal 100' mid mount tower ladder later this year.

I  heard though the grapevine that the palisades park XT  Quint is still having finishing touches with gold leaf & murals by master detailer Ed May Hopefully they'll be having a wetdown for this impressive looking Quint

There were photos of the work in progress on Pal Park's rig posted on Ed's Facebook "fan page".  It looks great!   Can't wait to see it all finished.   Hardyston Township's new Rosenbauer is coming in not lettered.   Wonder if that's Ed's next blank canvas (once he finishes Upper Saddle River, that is)?

A lot of work went into the new ladder truck purchase in Maywood, including countless hours by the truck committee measuring out setbacks, outrigger measurements, placement along our business district with parked vehicles, etc.   Frankly, considering average manpower is 3-4 guys for the truck to roll, the spec takes into consideration how to do more with less manpower and make it an aggressive piece of apparatus.

 

Rochelle Park has a KME engine on order as well, pre-construction trip was this past week.   Anticipated delivery end of 2017.

Rochelle Park probably be a 2018 delivery, KME been abit delayed with orders the past few months. Saddle River probably be next month delivery, there rescue is in town just not in service( The Demo from Wildwood). Ramsey ordered a Rosenbauer 88'ft Mid-Mount Platform for delivery in 2018.

I take it Edgewater's pumper's delayed too Wow the county's going to lose a legend of a scope when that Ramsey mid mount comes in (sigh)

Cairo,NY(Greene County) will be taking delivery sometime this week of their new 2016 International/ Rosenbauer 750/3000 Tanker!
