The city is hiring a firefighter but will not disclose if they are hiring off the residence list or county list.
The residence list is usually the first list used then the county list.

A woman in North Dakota wanted to have deer crossing signs moved because she believed that the signs were for the deer and she was involved in several accidents with deer. She wanted the signs moved to areas with less traffic.

Hazmat 1 also puts a lot of miles on their rigs being the only hazmat unit for the FDNY.

This Saturday 5/12 is national train day and they are having one of the events at Grand Central. The event runs from 11 am - 4pm. There will be a lot of train equipment on display on the tracks at Grand Central. This will be a really cool event if you or your kids are into trains.

Description Of Incident:Two Bee Line Buses colided near the intersection of Tuckahoe Rd and Grassy Sprain Rd.
